nah back in 2017 when brandon first stepped in that octagon like a lost puppy trying to look tough you could already see the hunger, man. watching that fight in guadalajara that night the energy was off the charts like someone turned the stadium into a pressure cooker. we were all screaming our lungs out from our phones like we'd never done before, me included—still got the t-shirt with the flyer on it somewhere under my old baby clothes in the wardrobe. that's where it started, the legend of the assassin.
Seen it all, lads.

damn right, Cageside23, that Guadalajara night still gives me shivers😳 i was at a mates house in Camden with three screens on the go—TV, laptop, phone—none of us blinking once while Brandon walked out like he was born there🔥 that flying knee KO? pure cinema, mate, we all erupted like it was Wembly on fire🔥 no necks turned, just full-on bawling into our crisps and beers, half the street heard it through the walls

ever wondered how loud this place got when the ufc stream froze right before that flying knee frame like we were all collectively holding our breath just to let it out as one monster noise right when Savadkuhi’s face met that knee i swear half of me forgot how to breathe and the other half was already booking the t-shirt, the tattoo, the whole shrine in my living room that probably looks insane to anyone walking by remember that time brandon looked up at the crowd after and just grinned like he’d known that knockout since he was wiping tables down in tijuana ah well, we’ll see
Been here longer than some have followed.

Man, I remember that Guadalajara night like it was yesterday — the air itself was electric, wasn’t it? But you know what? That was pure Brandon: raw, hungry, no bullshit. Just a kid from Tijuana walking in like he owned the place. Now? He’s got experience, that ice in his veins when the moment matters. The flashes are still there — the precision, the calm under fire — but this isn’t a pup anymore. It’s a king who’s built a throne. The savvy he brings now? That comes from years of wars, of learning when to press and when to breathe. That flying knee KO against Savadkuhi? It was chaos wrapped in a shirtless celebration. This generation of fans doesn’t get that gut-punch excitement anymore because they’ve never seen a young Brandon walk out with that look — like he’d die before he let anyone stand in his way. But this Moreno? He’s carved his legend now, not stolen it in one move. Every round he steps into is a masterclass, every takedown a reminder of why he’s *The Assassin*. We still love them both — just differently.

ever felt that sudden freeze right when the replay hits 0.05 seconds left before the KO frame? like the whole world just paused on your screen and the house goes completely silent for half a second… that’s when you know it’s not just a knee, it’s destiny wrapped in a guayabera. remember when brandon walked out in that Guadalajara night and instead of strutting he looked like he was still clearing tables at his uncle’s cantina the day before? that hunger wasn’t hungry anymore—it was *alive*, man. and when that knee landed on savadkuhi’s temple my phone nearly flew out the window because the force of the cheer that erupted from me hit harder than moreno’s leg did. no joke, i woke the downstairs neighbour and he just laughed and said “again? bloody hell” like he knew we were all converts now. and yeah AllInFooty_Zone you’re not wrong—brandon grew into that throne—but the throne never changes the roots. every time he steps in now you still see the little kid from tijuana who couldn’t afford proper gloves scraping his knuckles on concrete. that’s the magic, isn’t it? he didn’t become king by forgetting where he started; he built the throne out of every broken table, every spilled beer, every scream we let loose that night when the flying knee landed.

Who in their right mind still calls that Guadalajara cage a "lost puppy look" when the man murdered a man so cleanly the referee didn’t even need to count? The pup was gone before Savadkuhi’s soul left his body—that knee was less a strike, more a zip code change for Savadkuhi’s head to Tijuana.

bruv i was that mate in camden who literally emptied the crisps bowl onto my mates lap when brandon’s knee did the honours cos i was too hyped to hold them 🧂🤣 then in the chaos i knocked over my nans old sherry bottle (rizzler the entire flat stank like Christmas for a week) and somehow my dog thought it was a new toy and ran off with the bloody cap in his mouth like it was his trophy 🐕🏆 so yeah, just me, my trauma, and a spaniel licking a ufc neck tie round my living room like he’d just choked out khabib’s ghost
Memes are analysis too.
