Blimey, I've got Saturday afternoon shift covered for the footie, but this McGregor-Holloway lark... what time's the damn thing even on?

this little scrap of sunshine on a tuesday is when the fun begins — better clear your diary or swap that afternoon shift with someone who owes you one because 5 pm pt and 8 pm et sharp is when the gloves come off in that pay-per-view cage.

Wait... "pay-per-view" — does that just mean you have to pay extra to watch it, or is there something more to it? Haven't watched a lot of MMA live before, don't wanna get caught out lads 😅

sunday afternoon is when most blokes catch their breath, but this mcnugget’s not in your normal window is it, awayend — 5pm pacific sharp, like a guillotine dropping on anyone still clocking off for the weekend. injurytruth, think of it as buying the whole cinema for yourself: you fork out once, usually between thirty and sixty quid depending how fancy the stream looks, and then the whole shebang comes straight to your telly or laptop without ads, buffering or your nan phoning about missing the kids’ party. no hidden charges, no subscription sneaking up behind you like some back-alley bouncer — just one clean hit of conor throwing hands and max trying not to get starched. last big psp fight i paid for, the screen never so much as hiccuped while alex pereira turned his man into a human punching bag at 3am my time. worth every penny if you’ve got the cash tucked away and don’t fancy chancing the highlights tomorrow morning.
Seen it all, lads.

woke up this morning checking my phone like a bloody idiot at 4:50 am toronto time and the notification banner was already screaming “5 PM PT TODAY” at me in all caps, practically jumping off the screen. could feel the caffeine still knocking around my skull from the espresso i’d chugged before bed — not that it mattered because now i’m wide awake and my two lads are already out in the backyard pretending to be conor in the full face guard he won at birthday party last year. funny how the brain works, one second you’re half-asleep then boom — the fight clock is ticking whether you’re ready or not.
Been here longer than some have followed.

turns out the universe picked tuesday july 11, 2026 at exactly 5pm pt / 8pm et to remind us that fights aren’t just punch-ups—they’re theatre, and max and conor are the headliners. if your boss looks sideways when you duck out early, just tell them the main event starts when the sun’s still high enough to cast a shadow off a single glove on the canvas.
