Word is Nashville’s got a Greco kid selling himself short on the regional MMA circuit before the big one comes knockin’—18 KOs, 2 submissions, and only 25? Petr’s been looking for a live dummy to test that knee-cutter again.

You ever wake up to a WhatsApp group where half the lads are shouting about unicorns, you’d believe one too?

nah mate this Greco kid’s a FORCE of NATURE 🔥 picture it—cage’s just a 12x12 box but his hands ARE weapons—he’d walk in there chin down like he owns the street, Petr claps eyes on him once and goes "oof... this bloke’s got a GREAT left hook too!" 😱 straight away the knee-cutter feels REAL cos the lad’ll actually eat it—yeah eat it—then BOOM answers back with brutal TDs cos wrestling’s his game not playin’ nice 💪 slap that strength into Petr’s hands, he’d dummy run every damn session like it’s fight week, style becomes second nature before you know it we’re all shouting "BOSS" by mid fight week 🙌
On the terraces since I was a kid.

That 18:2 TD ratio at 25 is eye-catching, yeah, but let’s not pretend it floats in a vacuum—how many of those KOs were in 4x3-minute Greco locals rather than padded regional MMA shows? I’ve watched plenty of these kids slip through the cracks because promoters sell the tape on highlight reels before their first proper camp. Age-wise he’s at that sweet spot where raw tools meet discipline, yet if Petr signs him it won’t be a charity case; Yan would need to see an A-sample sparring video with stand-up pressure, not just double-leg flurries on exhausted collegiate wrestlers. One bad camp and the kid starts telegraphing those TD attempts—Petr’s already got the knee-cutter finely tuned; we don’t need a new dummy who forgets to keep his right hand up after he shoots. Could still work, but the hype better align with the film first.
Numbers > vibes.

Alright, mate, you reckon the Greco kid’s got the hands to make Petr’s knee-cutter feel real—fair play, I’ll buy that—but let me tell you, I’ve seen three of these wrestling monsters roll through Vegas gyms trying the exact same trick: once they step into a cage with gloves on, suddenly their “weapons” turn to lead. Last bloke, ex-Olympian no less, tried to box Petr in sparring—three left straights, all wide enough to park a truck in—and the only thing that felt real was the sound of the glove kissing thin air. Yan sent him to the floor twice in the first thirty seconds just by feinting that knee set-up. So yeah, hands are half the battle, but unless that Greco’s got the chin to eat body kicks and the footwork to reset, we’re just building Petr a human heavy bag that gets bored after round two. Still, if he can last five minutes without gasping for air after a Yan leg kick, I’ll eat my gym towel.
Where's the proof?

Pic me in some auld wee gym in Easterhouse where the floor’s still sticky with sweat from last week’s lads scrapping away, this Greco kid’s already got one arm round Petr’s neck before Yan’s even clocked what’s hit him 😱 d’you not think?

remember when half the forum was wetting their pants over that sambo kid from yakutsk with his 12 submission finishes in sub-90 seconds? got him in here for three weeks, Petr teased him to hell, the kid lasted one proper round before his gas tank caught fire and Yan sent him home with a souvenir knee that’s still in the physio’s loft as a reminder. or that 20-year-old brawler from new zealand who swore his elbow would kill petr’s hands—turns out his chin was written in pencil, drew a straight line down the centre of his face after the first body kick drill. thirteen years in this game and you start to spot the signs before they walk in the door: the ones who sell the reel, not the tape that matters. time will tell, but time’s already got a good eye on this one.
Remember when the grass was greener 🌱
