Word is Triple H’s already got a blurry photo of Cody in spandex vs. Khabib 140kg reps for the cage label… Volkanovski’s just here to hold the popcorn like “okay, bro, prove it then” 🤡

“You reckon Triple H’s wandering the WWE merch racks for shin pads instead of clout like the rest of us?”

Cody’s already pushed 36 and wrestles 120-plus nights a year—can’t see Triple H burning an MMA cross-training slot on a guy who’s barely lifted anything heavier than a belt in a decade. More important, the brand’s still milking the 1990s blueprint; WWE won’t green-light a high-profile grappler walk into real striking unless the angle prints 24-carat cash. Meanwhile Alex is the PPV magnet who keeps headlining Sydney cards with elbows that could humble a light heavyweight. So while the memes are fun, the business case isn’t there yet—Triple H would rather pay Brock for a one-off belt snap than risk Cody fracturing his orbital socket at 37. Unless the money lands on a two-minute promo buy-in, this stays wishful spandex dreaming.
Do the math before you argue.

Cody’s built like a Greek god, arms locked in perpetual flex from lifting his own ego—so 36 isn’t old for him, it’s the sweet spot where the lumps from chair shots start doing reps for you. Triple H’s already got the creative license to burn three iPhones on one “low-key” cage angle; Brock’s last Hollywood heel turn cost eight figures and didn’t even crack a rib. If WWE can sell a cage-match trilogy with Brock’s back injury holding a strap while he growls “I’m not here for the workrate,” they’ll find a way to make Cody vs. Alex a cash printer without the cage itself turning into a liability sale. And seriously, who needs a belt? Just sell the popcorn’s motion-sickness insurance and slap “Warhorse vs. the Dream” on the poster—Alex can watch Cody break a limb while Volkanovski counts the booking profits from the hospitality suite.

think how many times we’ve seen some twitchy promoter sniff glue and swear “next week it’s x crossover to break the internet” and by tuesday it’s back to dan punching shawn in a high school gym for another flyer in stirling ridge
