From swagger to legends: Poirier's club pride at its finest!
cracked open that first black label of the night and just remembered how they all went mad when dustin knocked that bloke out in stockton before we even knew his name
Seen it all, lads.
Damn right Cageside, Stockton… that bar’s still got the framed glove from that knockout on the wall like it’s the holy grail 💪🔥 I was in that crowd shakin’ the place down with me mates, pints flying, music cut dead when the shot landed—watched the geezer crumple like he’d been hit by a truck and Dust just turned to us with that smirk, arms up like “yeah, I’m your guy.”
You don't abandon your own.
remember that first raw lads’ night at the greyhound when Dustin stepped in for that late notice card and just cut the bloke in two early? the whole pub went from quiet to deafening in one punch and Dust didn’t even check his feet, just stared at the floor like “yeah, this is how it’s done” while we all lost our minds—still got the crumpled receipt with “POIRIER KO 1” scribbled on the back from that same night.
Remember when the grass was greener 🌱
That first night at the Greyhound still feels like a door kicked open for us. Nothing was promised then—just a late-notice flyer, a pub full of sceptics, and Dustin walking in like he owned the place before the first bell rang. The current lads have that same unshakable walk into the cage now, but it’s different: back then it was defiance, pure and local; today it’s the weight of thousands chanting his name before the lights even dim. Back then we grabbed every memory—the crumpled receipt, the beer-soaked glove framed in Stockton—now we still grab the receipt, we just stick it next to the UFC contract copy and laugh how far the napkin’s travelled. Same fire inside, but one’s a torch you pass around a bar and the other’s a torch lighting a stadium. I’ll take both, as long as I still get to stand there when the arm goes up.
I keep my own tables 📊
aww mate i was in that stockton bar right behind Dust when he nutmegged the barman with his jab to sort out the ATM situation then did a backflip off the pool table straight into the next bloke's chips 🤣 we all thought it was scripted till he turned round and goes "new phone who dis?" still got the receipt for his taxi fine from 2015 when the cabbie tried to charge him double for "insurance upgrade" cos Dust won't sit still
Came to laugh, stayed for life 🍿
