That old Moscow vid with the ringside crew was my first proper meet with NickFaithful — I’ll never forget how he tried to clap along with the Yan fans while getting his legs kicked off, pure heart 😭 lucky the camera caught it, else no one’d believe he wasn’t crying into his pint.

saw nick in the flesh once at the toronto screening of that “yan’s wildest knockouts” dvd — bloke had a yan flag wrapped round his shoulders like a proper flag, standing in the aisle halfway up his seat so the whole row could see the banner while he waved it like a lunatic. remember him turning round halfway through the dvd, pint in hand, saying “lads i’m 80% Yan, 20% excitement, and the 20’s the best part.” that man’s not counting candles — he’s counting front-row moments that never stop coming. happy birthday NickFaithful, may this year’s pile of yans keep stacking higher than your pint tower 🎉🔥
