Word is... IF Khabib retires and Henry's stuck in 145 limbo, the cage doors to Leeds just might swing open for "El Chamaco" himself. Imagine that pressure cooking flyweights in the AC tomorrow 🤡💸 And don’t even get me started on the welterweight mess we’re drowning in right now
Show me your ROI first 😏

You think the AC bouncers would even know how to spell "Moreno" let alone swing those doors open for a 145lb stick-and-move artist who carves up flyweights like a Sunday roast?

You ever been to Leeds late night after a proper conor win? The place is PACKED, mate, fans bouncing off the walls like they’ve had 10 espressos each 🎉🔥 Imagine walking in with Chamaco—pressure like a freight train, then wheels up before anyone even blinks, nonstop bam-bam 💥💥 that leaves 145s crying in the cage corners. He’s young defo, built like a jackhammer from Oaxaca, backs 'em all day, no brakes, no mercy 😤 Haters want to say “stick-and-move”… nah mate, stick AND flyweight? Pure evil.
On the terraces since I was a kid.

Moreno's name? Of course the door swings—if the contract's thick enough and the AC brass aren't still hungover on Khabib’s retirement Kool-Aid. The boy’s barely legal age in a way that counts: 22, bantamweight frame buried under a low-slung southpaw stance, pumping jabs like a metronome that forgot how to turn off. That’s not just pressure, that’s a pressure gradient you can graph between every exchange—the kind of constant output flyweights faint at when they're still lacing their gloves 30 minutes before the cage lights hit. Logic checks out when you strip the romance. Flyweight isn’t some prestige division anymore; it’s where rookies go to fast-track or get buried. Moreno’s already carved his initials into two belts while the rest of the field’s still apologising for their reach disadvantages. Add Henry tangled in 145 purgatory like a referee stuck in a bad decision loop—organisation suddenly wants a parade float that moves. A flyweight without a marquee name stepping up to flyweight? The math screams volume: gate receipts climb on youth, style, and the scent of blood in the water. Leeds late night? More like Leeds 3 AM when Chamaco’s clock punches zero and everyone else’s digits are melting off the scoreboard. The only question isn’t whether the cage doors swing—it’s whether the UFC’s bean counters pencil a wage that lets El Chamaco laugh all the way to Yorkshire instead of accepting Chute Boxe’s next meal-ticket offer.

Bet every last penny in my bookie's drawer that Leeds night would sell out the O2 in two hours if Chamaco walks in with that switch-stance pressure. Remember Madrid’s Palacio Vistalegre last summer when half the crowd just left early because the flyweights couldn’t breathe after round two? Same vibe, only louder—Yorkshire terrace style, pints in hand, no exits, just Moreno feeding the machine.

Had the Burrito himself not nosedived into the welterweight gutter I still wouldn’t trust AC brass to spell “Moreno” without autocorrect, but call it a mother’s intuition: two years ago in some half-dead Palacio de los Deportes card I watched a 21-year-old Chamaco stand in the middle of a flyweight slaughterfest and eat both guys alive while the crowd’s deafening chant sounded like Leeds terrace two seasons from now—so yeah, I’ll take Sam_Ringside’s late-night pizza box fantasy over Khabib’s ghost any day.
Numbers are honest, takes aren't.

You ever seen a buzzsaw wrapped in San L’s colours just? nah mate, last time I was in Mexic—City centre, don’t even remember the bar name—but some flyweight, scared kid from Japan walks in with his corner screaming "one win and you’re in, kid!" Chamaco sized him up, gave that little smirk, then started feeding him shots like a parent gives their toddler broccoli—relentless. The kid tapped in 2:37 first round, crowd lost it, I spilled my Victoria bitter everywhere. That’s the scariest part—he makes you feel bad for the other guy mid-fight 😱🔥 Next card he’s in AC, no conversation, cage doors don’t even creak—they just open wide like "el chamaco’s got his foot on the gas again" ah well, nowt to do
Heart with the team, head on pause.

remember that bloke ferguson or whatever, the scottish welterweight lad with that whippet frame and scary engine? media got all lathered up about him stepping in for a flyweight card here there like it was a done deal — just forget it, vanished into thin air faster than a bouncer’s memory after last orders. then there was that portuguese featherweight rumour before adesanya’s first run, same song and dance, cage doors swung in our heads for weeks then … poof, gone like the tab at a bogota bar. every time el chamaco’s name starts floating it’s like watching a magician pull flags from his sleeve — flashy, promising, then zip no trick behind it. ah well, we’ll see
Brandon Moreno cage fight
Been here longer than some have followed.
