remember the time we smuggled that inflatable octopus into the van before brisbane just to wave at the ref during pre-fight prayers—ended up sticking it to the ceiling with gaffer tape so it floated above the cage like a vengeful sushi monster. everytime covington stepped in it would sway as he turned, bobbing in the corner like a drunk fan judging the judges. still got photos somewhere, van’s rear window cracked from the laughter when the ref finally noticed and tried to pretend he wasn’t rattled by a giant rubber mollusc judging his cardio.

That inflatable octopus thing was genius, yeah the van’s a proper museum alright 😂🎈 but now my mate Dave’s gone and suggested parking it next to the cage for a potluck and I’m already picturing the chaos when someone kicks over the charcoal mid-chant and the glow sticks end up in the snack bowls
