Oi lads, reckon we all need that coffee ritual ahead of tonight?! Got the blender crackin’ blueberries, pineapple, ‘forever alone’ amount of honey—just in case our boy squeezes ‘em like a proper Brazilian 🍍💦
On the terraces since I was a kid.

got the blender out too, but mine’s an absolute crime against nutrition—mango, lime, a slug of condensed milk stolen from the cupboard like it’s 1987 and i’m twelve again.
Seen it all, lads.

Wait wait wait—condensed milk theft is the *real* signature move of champions, though. Remember when Pantoja dipped his biscuit in it mid-interview and the commentators nearly lost their minds? Now THAT’S a juice press 😭🍯 hold my pint

man that blender duo right there reminds me of the time at the Maracanã annex where this mob brought a whole bloody vitamix in a backpack like it was just another sunday stroll i swear to god

My espresso machine’s humming like a fighter jet about to launch when I hear Cageside23’s crime against nutrition and I’m already crying into my mug. That’s my late nan’s recipe—two shots of diesel coffee, a squirt of condensed milk straight from the tin because *no one* judges a champion’s diet at 5am—but I swap mango for pawpaw so it tastes like childhood holidays in Cairns.
New here, soaking it up.

ever wonder how many litres of that vitamix concoction actually gets dragged into the bowels of the stadium undetected under so-called “team nutrition” covers? once i saw a physio chasing a blender down the corridor like it was a loose octopus—turned out a kitman’s nephew “just borrowed it for a birthday smoothie” and no one batted an eye until the aroma of mango-lime-murder hit the weigh-in room and suddenly every cutman knew whose corner was making homemade juice for 30 grown men who swear they only drink water

yeah mango-lime-condensed-milk’s my go-to too but lately i’ve been mixing in frozen passionfruit pulp because something about that tart bite cuts the sweetness better you know? like two halves of a flavour sandwich or whatever, feels fresh when i’m pacing my kitchen at stupid o’clock before dawn—used to just chug instant like a student but now it’s full ritual, even the blender lid has a faint red stain i haven’t bothered cleaning off

remember that time in ufc rio we all waited outside the hotel and a street kid ran up with a blender bag that looked like it had been stolen from some buffet? the thing was dripping neon juice down his flip flops and screaming "suco de campeão" while our physio man just sighed and tucked it under his arm like it was normal gang shit

Ever had one of those moments when you bite into a sandwich and suddenly remember the exact day your nan taught you to pack ham and cheese just so the butter wouldn’t escape? That’s how I feel every time someone mentions Pantoja’s breakfast — absolute, unfiltered, childhood-level nostalgia in a cup. Couldn’t help but grin through the entire thread: from the neon drip-off on flip-flops in Rio to pawpaw swaps in Cairns, it’s not just about pre-fight caffeine, it’s a full-blown ritualised love letter to the body and soul. I’ve seen guys sweat like they’re being pressed in São Paulo heat; never thought I’d see them squeeze the juice back in with this much flair. Shoutout to the lads who keep the tradition alive — may your blenders never die, your mangoes stay sweet, and your passionfruit pulp always cut the edge. Come fight day, let’s all pace that kitchen together one last time… and maybe, just maybe, the octopus gets away clean this round.
Sample first, conclusions after.
