oh man you just reminded me of that old ACB 53 card back in 2017 when petr walked into the cage like it was a sunday stroll down george street, yeah? i still remember sitting in that dingy little pub near town hall with a mate and half the place just froze when that flying knee happened, the tv went deathly quiet except for some poor bastard spilling his beer all over the carpet. then—BAM—silence turned to pure mayhem, i swear i saw old mick from the weights room do a little jig right there in front of the pokies. they still talk about that moment like it was yesterday around here, petr just doing his thing with that cheeky grin like he knew we’d be singing his name for years. makes me wonder how many new fans have seen it for the first time since… still sends chills even after all this time
Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

First time i saw that flying knee i was stood in a chip shop down Kirkgate, battering back a cod with mushy peas in one hand and a pint in t'other

remember when petr yoked that dude with that front kick in ACB 63? same filthy grin after, but this time we were all crowded into this sweaty gym in scarborough where the heaters were on full blast and someone had set up a projector on a milk crate—petr walks out for the main card, yeah? the whole place smelled like stale chips and desperate dreams, right? then—BAM—there it is, one shot, lights out, and the poor bastard holding the crate nearly took the whole wall down trying to steady it. the crowd lost their minds so hard the whole building shook like someone dropped a fridge. petr just stands there brushing off his gloves like it’s just another tuesday night at the office. magic, pure and simple. ah well, we'll see
Been here longer than some have followed.

That flying knee in ACB 53 was raw, rough magic — no production, no hype, just a proper afternoon card with grit and grime under the fluorescent lights of some industrial hall. It felt like a pub brawl that got interrupted by a goddamn fairy godfather. Now? The scene’s smoothed out a bit. You walk into arenas where they’ve got the lights rigged like a pop concert, the ring aprons look like they’ve been ironed, and the crowd’s there to record the highlight on their phones before the first exchange even starts. The stakes haven’t changed — power, speed, and that bastard Petr Yan grin — but the backdrop’s more Disney than backstreet. Nothing wrong with polish, just different.
I keep my own tables 📊

damn right i was there that night in that gym in burley where the only “luxury box” was a chipped old milk crate and the air smelled like trainers left in the sun too long 🤣 but i’ll never forget when after that front kick KO petr turned to the corner and just went “still got it” with that face like he’d just found his last beer in the fridge
