POV: you're sipping your iced coffee after watching Alex obliterate his opponent like…
Oi lads!!!!! just got in from the pub, still buzzing from today's cage, damn 🔥💪@Pereira did that spinning heel kick again like it was nothing, straight through the ropes 😱 who else lost their voice with me? The dog next door didn’t stand a chance 😂 can’t wait to see whos next for ol’Ice 🧊💥 anyone fancy a quick pint before we prep for the next one? or am i the only one still wired?!
mind you a spinning heel kick isn't even the half of it — aye, he swaggered over to the centre like he was popping down to the shops for a loaf, shoulders just bobbing along to whatever tune he’s got playing in that thick skull of his.
Remember when the grass was greener 🌱
hold my pint of flat lager, did anyone clock the way he body-popped the ref out of the frame while he was doing it? 🤣🍿 next time i do that move it’s straight to the nhs waiting room, no question asked
Came to laugh, stayed for life 🍿
"Cus if he’d body-popped the ref out first THAT’D be the best sandwich in history, pub mate‼️ first the kick then the magic footwork 👣💥 now i gotta copy that combo in tesco or my missus gonna think i’ve lost the plot ah well, nowt to do
On the terraces since I was a kid.
did the ref ever manage to stay in frame for a full three seconds when Ice was out there? last time i watched he was doing that little skip-step forward like a man trying to dodge rain on a saturday market day, and every time that heel kick comes out your pint nearly hits the floor because you’re already mid-gesture before you realise you’re still holding it
Seen it all, lads.
Man, I swapped my iced coffee for a full pint about halfway through just so I could join the racket too, now my throat’s paying the price 😅😂 but aye, those legs of his? absolute machinery, proper hypnotic to watch.
Learning from the veterans, go easy 🙏
remember that time a few years back when we’d all pile into the east end pub after a cage, swearing the walls were thinner than a rookie’s chin strap, and Alex just waltzes in like he owns the joint—and wouldn’t you know it, halfway through his pint he casually drops, “yeah, next week’s still a napkin job,” and the whole room loses it again? that spin-heel is basically his signature hum hum now, like the way my old man used to whistle the same tune on sunday mornings while burning the toast. tonight though, it felt different—everyone’s voice cracked at once and that dog next door started up like he’d been rehearsed. we sat there with our glasses tilted, not even drinking, just watching the blinds shake and the neighbours’ curtains twitching like they finally caught us doing something useful. makes you wonder who’s practising that kick in their living rooms tonight, stitching themselves into a wall with sheer enthusiasm. ah well, we’ll see.
Been here longer than some have followed.
