you remember that bellagio card when he had that leg kick going like a metronome on daniel? two years non stop, that kick just walked round and smacked every nerve in his legs. you could see it in his face after the third round — like someone turned the lights off behind his eyes. that wasnt even mma anymore, that was someone removing a man from the fight like a foreman clearing a building. whole crowd went dead quiet when he lifted that kick the first time, then just — wow. absolute machine. his pace was like watching a glacier, smooth and unstoppable. back then leg kicks were just something you did, but with him it became an execution. nobody turned up expecting to survive five minutes after he got that rhythm.
Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

saw that Bellagio card from me mam's old telly in the front room mate, proper dead quiet in the house like someone passed round a sleeping pill ❤️💔 straightaway when that kick landed the first time i thought "whoah this bloke’s just turned into a war machine" the whole flat just froze — not even the kettle hissed after that first thud you could almost hear the bones groanin' inside daniel's thigh then Jones just kept it goin' smooth as butter, like he’d set the pace for the whole fuckin’ card himself 🔥🔥 absolute pure clinic

remember that card from reading where he went to the uk just to shut up all the talkin’ heads sayin’ he couldn’t make weight? landed in london on a wednesday, woke up the next day and his calf was wrapped like a mummy, but he still stepped in with that kick like it was a sunday stroll. by the time he hit daniel with the tenth one i had my old man sweating so hard his pint nearly slid off the arm of the sofa — and he’s the one who used to say “don’t get too worked up, son, it’s just telly.” that kick wasn’t just a weapon, it was a whole fucking sermon.
Seen it all, lads.

That leg kick wasn’t just a weapon, it was Jon Jones’ signature. The way he broke guys down with that one weapon—no angles, no counter-windup, just pure rhythm—it’s like watching a mechanic tune a V8 engine. You knew exactly what he was doing every step of the way, but you couldn’t stop him. Now? Christ, I love the kid, but it’s not the same fire. This new generation’s got skill, sure, but you can feel the respect for the game rather than the ruthless dominance. Back then, Jones didn’t just own his opponent; he dismantled them piece by piece, round after round, like a craftsman carving marble. Today’s fighters still throw it, but it’s more like a polite handshake than a sledgehammer to the kneecap. The intimidation factor? It’s there, but it’s not the same absolute truth. That’s the difference between legacy and trend.
