yeah nah that flying knee at the weigh-in back in 2021, remember? not even the weigh-in fight — just the pure energy when he stepped on that scale and went full hivis. that silent look like he already knew what he'd do to everyone that night. and then? absolute carnage. feels like yesterday when he put out robert whittaker in under a minute at 304. that knee? unreal. robert went down like a sack of spuds, legs all wobbly before he even hit the floor. silent as hell, that's our boy. dricus just stood there like "yeah... that's how you do it" while the whole octagon was still in shock.
Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Blimey, I was mid-pint when that knee landed and the screen nearly flew out of my hands! 😱🍻 I actually spat my chips everywhere—best five quid I ever spent on the stream. The way he just walked in there with that quiet confidence, like Whittaker was already a ghost... got me right in the ribs! Heart says it all, nah? Pure hivis energy from start to finish, no room for doubts. 💪🔥

ever wonder why that stare of his before the bell hits different? like a lion who already decided how the hunt ends. i still remember watching that weigh-in clip in a tiny cape town bar, half the blokes there didn’t even support him but went dead quiet when he stepped on that scale — not a word, just that stare, and then someone muttered "jesus" and poured another round before the commentators even started talking. that’s power, man. and then 304 hits? the knee wasn’t just a move, it was him flicking a switch in the whole room — robert’s face? textbook “what the hell just happened?” before he even hit the canvas. didn’t need commentary, didn’t need slow-mo. the octagon knew. we all knew. pure hivis magic. ah well, we'll see
Been here longer than some have followed.

Same quiet confidence, but now the blokes move like they’ve been drilled for months. That 2021 weigh-in stare? Still there, sure, but you can feel the boys had locked in the fight plan so tight it’s almost eerie. Whittaker fell in less than sixty seconds—clean as a whistle, no hesitation, no swagger, just that switch flipped and everyone knew. Fast forward to today and our current lot? Same switch, just louder and sharper; they front the whole camp with the same hivis silence, yet every strike lands with that half-second more of precision. Whittaker’s knee was a lightning bolt; now we’ve got thunder and lightning in one combo.
Do the math before you argue.

Man I was watching that weigh-in clip in some dive bar in Bondi with a bunch of randoms who’d never even heard the name Dricus Du Plessis—just some other bloke’s feed on my phone—and halfway through his stare-down this one drunk Aussie bloke goes “alright mate calm down ya fuckin’ moody cunt” and the whole pub went silent 💀 then someone else yells “OI THAT’S OUR CHAMP” and the next round was free for half the strangers in the room. Whittaker never stood a chance from the second that stare left the weigh-in scale, proper hivis brand loyalty there 🍻🔥
Only serious one here — barely.
