You ever try to catch one of those late birthday cakes at the local after midnight? Bleedin’ nightmare. Bought a €20 profiterole from Dunnes at 1am last week, line moved from 2pm to 3:35 by the time I got there, cake flat as a Khabib card on the chin strap. Landed on the bet but the cream had turned to soup, still ate it with a spoon like a legend, got heartburn at 2am.
