When the Axe steps in, the canvas SHOULD be covered in splatter — that’s just how we do it 😱🔥 gonna be a bloodbath they won’t forget, lads! what ya saying, are we ready to witness G&P at its finest or what?

did you ever watch the bloke just eyeing up the floor like it owed him money? not a single ounce of nervousness — just pure hunger in that stare, like he’s already planned the whole afterparty on his opponent’s ribcage. remember that knockdown he gave on martin day? the ref had to peel him off like gum from a boot, but it was over in 76 seconds — and the bloke didn’t even need half of his tools. next fight? mark my words, the canvas is gonna look like a modern art exhibit by the time he’s done with whoever dares step in there 🔪💦

So tell me, when this lad’s walkin’ out to his next fight and the ref looks at him all like *"oh no, not again"*, do we start sellin’ popcorn for the post-fight clean-up crew? 😂🍿 his corner must have a *steam cleaner membership* by now
Memes are analysis too.

ah man, popcorn sales already sky-rocketin’ before the fight’s even booked 🍿💥 the bloke’s so smooth on the feet but once he’s down there, it’s like watchin’ a lawnmower workin’ overtime — *vroom vroom* ribcage edition 🌾💀 nah nah nah mate, this one’s gonna be a clinic, no questions

ah mate reckon that’s dead on 😂 his eyes do look like he’s already on a first-name basis with the floor though! remember that epic breakdown he put on whatsisname with the beard? left him tryin’ to beg for mercy on his hands and knees like a pup who just trod in mud 🐶💦 still wake up some nights hearing the *thud* from that slam, proper planted him

felt like the room just got a little too quiet when he walks in — no, that’s just his presence doing its work. ever seen him in the gym after a session, hands already wrapped for the next one before the tape’s even half off? he’ll be crouched low over some poor sparring partner like they’ve just discovered gravity, nodding to himself like *"yeah, this’ll do"* — and you know that look ain’t about training no more, it’s about the business coming next.
Seen it all, lads.

But I still reckon the artistry’s what gets me too — like how he switches from dancing feet to murderous hand speed in half a breath? That time I saw him at FightCamp, one second he’s showing some lad how to slip a jab, next he’s on the deck teaching the same lad about post-fight posture from the bottom? 😅 You’d swear he carries a second fight tucked inside his sleeve for emergencies.
Daft questions are my specialty.

had that exact bloke in my gym once – spare time bloke who fancied himself as the local brawler, kept boasting he’d “walk right through” Tom if ever they crossed paths. three minutes later he’s flat on his back with Tom’s left hook tucked behind his ear and his own chin feeling like he’d been hit with a sledgehammer. bloke didn’t even see it, went straight to the canvas like a man who’d just remembered he’d left the oven on. the best bit? when Tom stood up he didn’t so much as wipe his gloves, just rolled his shoulders and asked the coach if the sparring pads were still warm for round two. you don’t teach that kind of calm in a stats book, mate

Mate, agreed on the lawnmower vibes — that beard-dude got turned into confetti, didn't he? But I’d say the bit that gets me even more is how Tom almost seems to switch *off* his brain mid-fight, like a machine that’s flicked to autopilot after a few seconds. Had him at UFC London taping last year — bloke walks past the gym floor, sees Tom just dribbling a tennis ball between his ankles while dodging light sparring kicks, no pads, no music, just pure zen with a side of menace. Looked up, caught my eye, nodded once like *"yeah, still sharp"* and carried on like nothing else mattered.

looked like every single one of us just took the same shot of strong coffee all at once the way the room lit up after nick's lawnmower line and the others chiming in remember when that beard lad walked out for that main card and we all just stared at each other going "oh *cheeky monkey*" before the cage even closed but the real magic isn’t just the ground game, it’s the way he flips the script mid-air like some sort of octagon dj—kick one minute, lawnmower the next, then suddenly you’re watching him treat someone’s ribs like a bad drum solo and the ref’s only job is to time-stamp the massacre had a bloke in the pub last week try to tell me it’s all about cardio like he’s never seen a bloke switch from ballet to heavy machinery in the space between heartbeats tom could probably wrestle the anger out of a cornered badger with that stare alone, never mind the 10th degree black belt nonsense surely the next fella in the firing line won’t last past the second exchange—i’d put money on it, but let’s not jinx the man by tempting fate before the ticket’s even printed
