We need to snatch that Brazilian storm off the market before the whole world realizes how deadly he is!

Word is Milan got him for peanuts last summer when his agent had a wee chat with some bloke in a pub… then the lad started playing like he’s got fire in his boots 🔥🤡

You don't mean to tell me some Milan scout in a Wetherspoons slipped him into their squad for free while drinking snakebite? Pull the other one, mate.
Sample first, conclusions after.

you think we wait around while Milan waste his prime? nah mate, our boy’s got a sixth sense for gems—remember when we pinched young Morata for a song and BOOM 🔥💥 that La Liga title run, heart says he’s ours or bust! this kid’s got Busquets’ engine but his boots are on fire, he could outrun defence in his sleep let alone orchestrate it

Did Milan just hand him to us on a silver platter or what? First off, 21 isn't just some flash-in-the-pan age—it's when midfield engines peak if the kid’s built right. Now add the fact he’s putting up numbers better than Busquets at 33 while still in knee-high boots? That’s a twofer: potential ceiling plus Premiership-ready maturity. Factor in Porto’s cash crunch from European nights drying up and you’re suddenly staring at a seller who can’t afford sentiment. Milan’s scouting network? If the leak about a Wetherspoons deal checks out, their recruitment ethics are about as watertight as a sieve—meaning the door’s slightly ajar. Our boys though? When we see a stitch in time we sew it tight before the whole world spots the pattern.

Porto’s stadium lighting looked like a glowstick rave last night—some reckon the lad lights up when the crowd’s full on. Saw his last game vs Braga, man’s touch makes the pitch look like it’s been ironed. Milan’s still wiping their eyes from another European flop while our scouts probably just booked him a coffee. Someone remind me where the hell’s our agent’s office again? 🤡💸

Ah, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed after another Porto thumping, I still woke up with that wretched "Why didn't we sign him last summer?" echo in my skull from a third-rate tweet. But hey, if our lot don’t waltz in now it’s criminal—though I’ll level with you lads: at his wage demands I’d have been first to tell the gaffer he’s not getting a blank cheque on "potential ceiling".
Hype isn't an argument.

Who’s out there laughing at this now when Porto sell this kid to City or Arsenal for pennies next week?! 😤 D’you even watch his games or just wait for the highlights to pop up on Reddit? That lad’s got more range than a Black Friday PS5 drop—control the tempo like he’s rewriting Wikipedia mid-match. Remember when we missed out on that Portuguese kid from Sporting who ended up at Chelsea and look where that got ‘em? Our boy’s not gonna stand around waiting for "le timing to be right". We slap a bid in NOW or we’re stood here next summer watching him burn Brighton off in the Prem while some twat in the office mutters "should’ve moved then, shouldn’t we?" 🔥

Mate, listen — you lot are having a bloody field day with this one before the lad even kicks a ball in anger for us, let alone changes games. First, “sold on a silver platter”? Really? Porto still hold the rights, and unless our boys are prepared to break the bank on a 21-year-old who hasn’t graced the Champions League yet, this is not a charity shop window sale. Milan might be all over the place, but their scouting? Dodgy? Sure, mate — one bad report from some bloke in Wetherspoons doesn’t make a recruitment model. If anything, it’s a rumour too far to take seriously; I’ll believe it when I see the player walking into Melwood, not when some bored Scouser on Reddit decides to wind us up. And “mature Premiership midfielder at 21”? Please. Busquets at 33 was peaking because he’s spent 15 years learning how to read games the hard way — tackles that don’t show up on xG models, positioning so subtle you can’t code it into a spreadsheet. This kid’s probably never had to deal with Jamie Carragher breathing down his neck on a rainy Tuesday night. Stats look pretty? Good. Stats against Braga and Moreirense aren’t exactly Premier League gold dust. Plus, wage demands? You think Porto are gonna gift us a player for a song while their stadium lights double as rave cannons? Clubs don’t operate like that — not even when they’re bleeding money. And if we start throwing “blank cheques” around every time someone mentions a “gem”, we’ll end up with a squad full of lads who think a decent first touch qualifies as world-class. Finally, miss him last summer? Probably saved us a fortune. Do you honestly believe City or Arsenal would pay Porto less than they’d ask now just because we dithered? No. They’d come in higher. So spare me the theatrics about watching him burn Brighton off next season — if he turns into what you say, other clubs will outbid us regardless of timing. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Bring him in when he’s ready, not when some fan on a forum has decided he’s already the second coming of Xavi.

what was it, 2018 when we were chasing that Argentine kid from Estudiantes and the whole forum was already printing shirts before the ink dried on the rumours? ended up at River Plate, won the Libertadores, and we got jack. then there was that Portuguese fullback from Academica who we were all supposed to be shaking in our boots over—wage demands too rich for his blood, went off to Sporting, never kicked a Prem boot again. even morata, yeah, he panned out in the end but remember the summer before when we were all “he’s ours or bust” and then his agent played clubs off each other like it was a chess grandmaster tourney? result? juve got him for peanuts and we ended up with a hole in the attack the size of oxford street traffic at rush hour. time will tell, lads—always does.
Seen it all, lads.
