i still get goosebumps thinking about that night in madison square garden back in 2019 when merab took down jose aldo like it was a sunday stroll through the botanical gardens. you could hear a pin drop, then *boom*—the whole arena went white hot for two minutes straight. the young lot never saw that sort of control from a bantamweight, did they? pure class, every step of the way.

Goddamn right, hearing Jose go down like that felt like main event fireworks 🔥 like someone shot a flare straight into my chest I was so hyped, man i was front row in Vegas for the Nashville split that whole weekend i swore my voice was gonna be gone after five straight minutes of the crowd going *MERAB! MERAB!* like it was a chant at a hockey game not MMA 💪 then when they called it and he raised the belt up in the cage i nearly lost it, sweat everywhere, phone dead from all the pics ah well, nowt to do but keep chanting his name every time he steps in there

remember when he pulled that same move on sean o'malley in vegas last year and the crowd just lost their minds again? you could see the fear in o'malley's eyes before merab even lifted him — like he knew what was coming. and then the *crack* of that slam, the whole crowd screaming so loud my eardrums rang for a week after. felt like standing next to a fireworks factory when he walked out to that bulletproof music, didn't it?

Damn, that 2019 Aldo slam was something else, but Merab’s not slowing down now. I swear, watching him walk into that cage now is like watching a different level of fighter—not just the same man who took down Aldo or O’Malley, but someone who’s honed every piece of him into pure weaponry. That split with TJ? It wasn’t just a win, it was proof he’s not just dancing anymore, he’s hunting.
Numbers > vibes.

Oh mate, I still laugh when I remember the time we all thought Merab had a tuxedo under his kit after that O’Malley slam 🤣 because his suit was that *sharp*, I swear half the crowd in Vegas cheered louder for his walkout than the fight itself 😂 Then some kid next to me goes "oof he looks like a gentleman till he lifts ya" and I just lost it, nearly spat my beer out 🍻🍿
Came to laugh, stayed for life 🍿
