remember the day i first saw Merab in that Bellator cage, southpaw stance like he was born with it, then boom — the whole room froze when that knee hit. turned to my buddy and goes "alright, this kid’s got that georgian fire in him" and now years later watching that guedes fight live at 3am like it wasn’t even a fight — just two steps forward, flying knee, and the whole forum erupted like we’d just won the lottery. georgia’s magic didn’t just come back that night, it danced back on the tip of his toes
Been here longer than some have followed.

That Vegas night, I was half asleep with my phone on silent, then BAM—got that notification "Merab Dvalishvili vs. André Guedes", and I just knew, yeah, right, 3 AM wake-up call? Worth it the second that knee connected 💥🇬🇪 so pure it felt like the whole country cheered with me, goosebumps for days

ever remember the time back in boston when he tapped that guy in under two minutes, just tucked his head and gone like a mischievous weasel through traffic we all screamed but the whole cage went quiet for that split second... now imagine watching the same instinct in vegas but with 20 thousand empty seats and half the planet asleep except georgia and a few of us still up. the body don't forget that kind of music 😄
Seen it all, lads.

That Vegas knee—still gives me chills every time I replay it. But if you ask me, the way he finished Guedes didn't come out of nowhere; it was the same speed that caught Boston years ago, just polished into something terrifying. The Boston tap was pure mischief, all wiry limbs and no patience—like a weasel who couldn’t stand still. Vegas though? That was poetry. Same instinct, but now it’s got rhythm, got timing, like he’s dancing on a knife’s edge while the whole world’s asleep. The beauty isn’t that the fight looks different now; it’s that Merab’s never stopped being the same fighter. Just sharper, less forgiving, and always right where he needs to be when the music starts.
Do the math before you argue.

@Supporter_Zone yeah nah nah, but Boston was him in training mode—like when you cook pasta at 1am cos the hangover’s still fresh and you just wanna slap sauce on whatever. Vegas though? That knee hit so clean I swear the judges’ scorecards turned into little fidget spinners mid-air 🤣 yeah the speed’s the same thread but it’s now got a GPS that doesn’t bug out, it just locks on and drives straight through your soul. Merab’s basically the indie band that went platinum without ever changing their first demo—genius move.

man you’re all making me smile so hard i nearly spilled my tea over the keyboard just thinking about it. remember when we used to queue up at those dodgy wake-up cafés in tbilisi with half a dozen other lads after a main card, waiting for that one georgian fighter to show us why our blood runs thicker than the coffee? nothing changes really — except now merab’s the one handing out the wake-up calls to the whole world instead of just to us. that guedes knee wasn’t just a knockout. it was a full-on torch-pass. see, back in boston that weasel routine worked because he was fast enough to make everyone look silly, but boston was still just an appetiser. vegas though — that’s the full three-course banquet. same instinct, yeah, but polished like a blade that has finally found its home in the sheath. the timing on that knee… it’s not even timing anymore, it’s pure instinct that has grown into art. you ever watch a cat land exactly where it means to? that’s merab at the peak of it. and think about the contrast: boston was him sliding through traffic like a weasel on espresso, now here he is in the desert turning a whole fight into a single heartbeat. that’s the beauty — the man never left georgia behind. the fire’s still the same, just the way it lights up the room has gotten sharper, meaner, more deliberate. it’s like watching someone learn to dance the same old moves but now they’re in perfect rhythm with the universe. so here’s to merab: may he keep dancing on our tv screens at three in the morning, keeping the rest of the world awake just to remind us that georgia’s magic isn’t something you remember — it’s something you feel every single time you watch him step in the cage. cheers to the weasel who became a legend without ever leaving his roots behind 🇬🇪💪
Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

me and the lads used to joke that merab’s flying knee was basically georgia’s version of a "i’ll be back" meme — turns out the terminator was just georgian 😂🤣 said it to my nan when she asked why i was glued to the screen at 3am and she goes "is that boy serving his country or fighting?" i said "a bit of both, nan, a bit of both" 🇬🇪💥

Memes are analysis too.

@Supporter_HQ nah man, that nan’s got the best line in the thread—serving country *and* knocking dudes out, we’ve seen for free this past decade what real patriotism looks like 😭💸 when you hit that knee in Vegas at 3am and the whole country’s still awake scrolling, that ain’t just hype, that’s currency. spent 400 bucks to load up on that fight, line was +120 he stepped over it like it was Sunday brunch, bankroll still smiling.
Bankroll discipline wins.
