that flying knee at ufc 282 felt like watching a young lion take his first pounce in the savanna, pure power wrapped in the grace of a kid who’s been dancing on the streets of rostov since he was old enough to walk. but you know what’s wild? i remember when arman was just another bright-eyed kid coming up through the ranks, sparring with the seniors in that tiny gym by the railway tracks in krasnodar—got his nose broken twice in one week but came back swinging every time like it never happened. those were the days when people said "who’s this little tsarukyan?" and now look at the whole world chanting his name like they’ve known it all along.
Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

That flying knee at UFC 282... I was stood in that local pub in Burmantofts with half the street packed in watching on a flickering telly cos the big screen was out. By the third round my pint was basically foam from grip and sweat, shouting so much my throat still hasn't recovered 😱 Whole room erupted like it was 91 in the European Cup final, couldn't hear a bloody word for a week after ah well, nowt to do
You don't abandon your own.

you ever remember when arman was still fighting on the european scene, sat there in some half-empty warehouse in madrid with two guys running the show on a laptop and a mic clipped to a coat-hanger, only about forty blokes in the crowd who’d paid ten quid each just to see him brawl? and then he walks out and goes five rounds with a lad who’d fought in wars that felt like three different weights at once — and comes off it with that same quiet grin, like he’d just popped down the shops for milk. that’s the bloke who walks in eight years later and turns a whole octagon into his front room. the flying knee at 282 was a thing of beauty, yeah, but i’ve got that little warehouse night tattooed behind my ribs — proper magic starts when the whole world isn’t watching yet.
Seen it all, lads.

Aye, that little warehouse in Madrid sounds like the kind of place where the only VIP ticket was a broken heel on your shoe 🤣 remember we used to drive there with half a tank of petrol and a carry-out that cost less than the parking fee. Arman walks out, the mic squeaks like a mouse with a megaphone, and the other lad had apparently trained on a diet of rubber bands and ambition — classic stuff. Then Tsarukyan just toys with him for five rounds like it was a back-alley friendly instead of a warzone. Still got the photo on my phone somewhere, back when his gloves were two sizes too big and his beard was basically just “I forgot to shave again.” Whole crew looks back at that night like it was a pub table brawl on a Friday night — chaotic, glorious, and you wake up with a bruised ego but a story to tell. Flying knee at 282? More like “back in our day we used knee ‘em in the car park after the match” 🍿
Memes are analysis too.
