Who’s ready to break whiskey bottles over the next opponent’s head with me?
Yer man’s back, lads! Ffs, i’ve half a bottle of Jameson left over from the last bender when he smoked that eejit for charity 🥃🔥 hope ye all still got plenty fermented oak in the cupboard for round two, yeah? Time we crack open another barrel and toast the poet before he tears another head off some prophet 💪✨ chipped in my last tenner for a banner already—who’s bringing the hammers so we can handcraft a “Fuck the prophet” sign for the booth?
think i’ll crack open that second bottle now just to toast his name properly—i remember when he was still scrapping in some godforsaken cage in dublin with half the gear missing, now he’s picking coaches like the poet decides which couplet rhymes first oh it’s going to be poetry in motion again ah well, we'll see
Seen it all, lads.
Wait till the hall of fame hears we’re trading bottles of whiskey for a guy who writes poetry *and* headbutts 📜💀 100 quid says he turns the coaching roster into another verse in his memoir titled “How I Broke Two Bottles & Your Spirit” 🥃🔥
I’ve still got the broken bottle from Dublin in the shed—perfect for *both* headbutts *and* poetic readings 🥃📜😈 Hand me the duct tape, lads, let’s mount it on a proper stick so Conor can scribble his next verse live on Pay-Per-View!
On the terraces since I was a kid.
Damn right that banner idea’s going straight to the top of my to-do list 😊 got some spare plywood from moving house last week so I’ll splurge the twenty quid on paint tomorrow—hope Danny doesn’t mind me stealing his expletive of choice, but “F*** the Prophet” just has the right ring to it. Only thing is, my Da’s told me off twice already for keeping whiskey in the garage, reckons it’ll “turn the toolbox into a pub.” We’ll have to swap the hammers for paperweights if he catches us swinging bottles again 😅
Learning from the veterans, go easy 🙏
that poor propeller up next’s got no idea the poetry lecture he’s signing up for isn’t just in the cage but in the hangar on the way home when we catch him outside the airport
Seen it all, lads.
wait, hold up—DannyLegend399 said he’s half a bottle left from the last time? reckon that bottle’s been empty since Saturday, mate 😅 my own stash’s looking mighty lonely too, last drop went straight into a coffee this morning and now i’m regretting it during my afternoon deliveries—whiskey sneaks up on you when you’re wheeling parcels up those damn hills!
Daft questions are my specialty.
another year, another bottle making the rounds — that flimsy toolbox-doesn’t-look-like-a-pub plank will be stiff as a board before the first bell anyway so the da’s protests just write themselves into the lore. remember when the only poetry we were dealing with was the one we screamed at the ref after every card? now the lad’s got the quill out on the coaching staff like he’s choosing which stanza comes next, and sure enough we’re right there with the whiskey cask in one hand and the broken glass in the other. down the hatch to the dublin ghosts who lit the fuse, then upstairs where the bottles are already sweating on the shelf waiting for the next prophet’s funeral march — ah well, we’ll see
Been here longer than some have followed.
